Nothing but good things to say about Poolfessionals. Their name is perfect, because they are truly the most professional pool service with whom we've done business. We have a large pool in a very tropical backyard with tons of vegetation. Previous pool services "hated" it. As someone new to pool ownership, Mike and his team have done a phenomenal job in getting my pool up to speed as the pool equipment had been turned off and was in disrepair when I bought my new house. Parts and equipment needed to be repaired or cleaned, and the pool needed to drained and washed. They did a great job at a very reasonable price! Just as important, they have consistently taken the time to answer questions and education me about operating the pool. Also, I appreciate the report they send at the time of weekly service which summarizes what was done, pool chemistry and a photo. Poolfessionals has exceeded my expectation every step of the way!

I have owned a pool for over 40 years, at different locations all over southern California. Poolfessionals is by far the most professional and organized. I know exactly on a weekly basis how my pool looks visually and chemically because I am emailed every week. Their technicians are friendly to my tenant's children and answer all questions that they might have also. I highly recommend them especially if you are a new pool owner. I've switched service to Poolfressionals nearly a year ago. This review is for the preceeding 12 months from Feb 2023 to Feb 2024.I reached out to Poolfressionals to switch from my prior pool service provider. I was greeting by Michael, who came over to the house to personally review what he was being asked to service, and provide an explanation of what to expect should I choose his team. It was very clear what I was signing up for, and any extras were specifically called out by Michael verbally and in writing so there were no surprises at billing time.Every week, my pool receives a visit from one of their staff. The staff member (Jonathan in the last year) provides the services exactly as they were outlined verbally and in writing. The part I did not expect, and the part that sets these guys ahead of Joe the Pool Guy is the fact that as a homeowner I receive an email report of my pool's condition. I get photos of the clean pool, readings of the pool's chemistry, and a list of services performed. My last guy, I got a text asking to pay the month's service. These guys give the full run-down of what's needed.Occasionally additional services are required, e.g. cleaning out the filter, adding salt, or cleaning the salt water chlorinator. All of these additional services are communicated ahead of time along with the anticipated charges. Again, no surprises.Billing is ridiculously simple. It feels like a subscription, which I appreciate.Look - everyone I've encountered at Poolfressionals is an amazing person to work with. I appreciate how this team operates, and I think they go miles beyond what a normal operator would do.

Poolfessionals have been a great company. I hired them on when I bought my house and had a consultation with the company owner on the poor state of the pool. They cleaned it and have maintained it ever since. They communicate really well, send updates on the weekly pool cleaning with the chemical balance of the pool and pictures. They are easy to get a hold of if you have questions. They always check the equipment and we adjust filter cleanings as needed. The cost is really reasonable, and allows me to enjoy the SoCal sun in our clean pool. They have made owning the a pool worry free and effortless.

I called Mike from a recommendation to have a leaky pool valve repaired/replaced. He came over the very next day and I approved the work and requested a quote to have all of the above ground plumbing replaced. It took over a month to get the requested quote and to have the work scheduled, then rescheduled and ultimately completed. He runs a busy business and is not as responsive as I had anticipated but... he does outstanding work at a fair price and takes pride in his work. Mike also takes the time to explain everything and provides helpful suggestions. I have provided several before/after photos. I would recommended Mike and Poolfesionals especially if you have some flexibility with timing.

Mike did a fantastic job fixing our pool. Our previous company let the pool turn green, then our filter broke and the pool got even worse. The pool was green and slimy so Mike came over and drained the pool, chlorine and acid washed the surface, and cleaned and repaired the inside of our broken filter. The plaster is nice and white again, and the water crystal clear blue. He was super fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him for all your pool repair needs!
